At A Glance

Rintama High splits its world into two connected spaces: the Rintama High school campus, where most Roleplay happens, and the wider Hokuheki City around it, where you find shops, NPCs, and Jobs. A separate Training Grounds experience exists purely for combat practice outside either map. Verified August 9, 2026.

What is on the Rintama High campus?

The school campus is where Roleplay scenes actually happen — it is the heart of the map, not a side location.

AreaWhat it is for
ClassroomsCore RP setting for school-day scenes
CorridorsConnects classrooms, common spot for social RP
RooftopA recurring delinquent-RP hangout spot above the school
Schoolyard / playgroundOpen outdoor space, also used for sparring
Front gateMain entrance and a common meeting point

Campus NPCs are worth checking early

Several NPCs are placed around campus and the map beyond it, and not every one of them does something useful — some just make small talk while others hand out Jobs or, in the case of the NPC that changes your combat kit, sell a Fighting Style. Walk the campus once early on and note which NPCs actually offer something before assuming the whole area is decorative.

Once you know your way around the school, the next question is what changes once you step outside its gates.

What is out in Hokuheki City?

Hokuheki City is the exploration layer wrapped around the school — streets, a shop, and hidden spots worth finding once you are not glued to a single Roleplay scene.

The Konbini connects to your Yen balance

The Konbini is where Yen actually gets spent on small items rather than a full Fighting Style purchase, which makes it worth a stop between Job shifts. Full detail on where that Yen comes from and what else it is worth saving for is on the Yen farming page.

A Fight Club area is reported, not yet confirmed

Some early community write-ups reference a dedicated Fight Club spot somewhere in Hokuheki City for player-versus-player fights outside normal Roleplay scenes. This page is not confirming its exact location yet — treat it as a rumor worth checking in-game rather than a landmark you can navigate straight to.

Treat unconfirmed landmarks as work in progress

Because Rintama High only just launched, some Hokuheki City landmarks reported by early players are still being verified and are not listed here as confirmed fact until they hold up. This page will fill in specific named streets and hidden-spot locations as the community — and this site — confirms them.

Wherever you explore in the city, Training Grounds sits completely outside it as a dedicated combat space.

Where do I practice combat outside Roleplay?

Training Grounds is a public Roblox experience of its own, separate from both the school campus and Hokuheki City.

  • Do01Open Training Grounds directly — no group or Discord gate applies
  • Do02Drill Guard, Evade, Lock On, and combos with zero story stakes
  • Do03Return to the main Rintama High map once you feel comfortable with the basics
  • Do04See the combat guide for the full move breakdown

Why it stays separate

Splitting Training Grounds off from the main map keeps combat practice open even while the gated Roleplay server is closed, so waiting for a session to open is never a reason to skip drilling your moves. Once you are done there, getting back to campus and the city quickly is just a matter of knowing your navigation options.

Schoolyard sparring is not the same as Training Grounds

You can still throw hands with another student in the campus schoolyard or out in Hokuheki City once Passive Mode is off, but that is a live Roleplay fight with real stakes for the scene, not a practice space. Save the actual move-learning for Training Grounds, and treat any fight on the main map as one you already meant to have.
